RESEARCH INTEREST:
  • insilico and invivo analysis of cyanobacterial oxidases with a focus towards bioremediation.
  • My research is to understand cyanobacterial detoxification enzyme in response to various substrates. I am also interested in performing an insilico research to comprehend the evolution of cyanobacteria enzymes by performing a comprehensive analysis with higher eukaryotes and lower prokaryotes.
JOINED THE LAB:
  • On March 2011 at National Facility for Marine Cyanobacteria, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli.
BACKGROUND:
  • I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Bharathiar University in 2007 and Master's in Biochemical Technology (biochemistry) from Madurai Kamaraj University in 2009 and my Master's degree project entitles "Multiple template homology modeling of AT1 receptor an insilico screening for potential antihypertensive drugs". My Master of philosophy in Microbial Biotechnology is from Bharathidasan University in 2011. The project carried out was "Insilico and Invivo analysis of marine cyanobacterial CO2 fixing enzyme and their tolerance to varying CO2 levels".
